H.R. 3221, "Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009" was ordered favorably reported, as amended, to the House and that the Committee authorize the Chairman to transmit the bill as amended, to the Committee on the Budget pursuant to reconciliation instructions contained in S.Con.Res. 13 by a vote of 30-17.  Roll Call No. 5

Mr. Miller motion to add Ms. Chu (CA) to the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education and the Subcommittee on Healthy Families and Communites.  Adopted by unanimous consent.

Mr. Kline motion that the revised Republican subcommittee assignments be inserted into the record.  Adopted by unanimous consent. 

Revisions:  Mr. Price (GA) replaces Mr. Kline as the Senior Republican on the Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions; Mrs. McMorris Rodgers (WA) replaces Mr. Price as the Senior Republican on the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, and Mr. McKeon, Mrs. McMorris Rodgers and Mr. Kline have new subcommittee assignments.
