Budget

When it comes to our nation’s schools, more than ever is being spent – and, indeed, more than ever is being expected. 

However, simply spending more money is not the answer to the problems facing America’s education system.  That's why congressional Republicans believe that funding must be coupled with high standards, accountability for results, and increased parental involvement.  In the 111th Congress, Republicans will not lose sight of the fact that resources alone are not the answer. Reform is.
